Physical Therapist
Hello! I grew up in West Warwick, RI and eventually went to physical therapy school in Springfield, MA at Springfield College. Shortly after graduating in 2011, I moved out to New Jersey and married a Jersey girl. I started working at a small private practice, JointCare Physical Therapy in Florham Park, NJ where I met Dan Carroll. Eventually, we joined forces again in 2018 at Carroll Physical Therapy. Currently, I live in Denville and raise 2 awesome kiddos (Logan and Amelia) with my wife Jess.
As a physical therapist, it is my job to understand movement disorders and evaluate how to address movement dysfunction with patients. When I graduated as a new physical therapist, I realized that I excelled in developing a connection with patients BUT I also knew that wasn’t going to be enough to give patients the best of what physical therapy has to offer.
From 2011 to 2015, I spent weekends away from my family learning how to become a better manual (hands-on) therapist. I eventually obtained my “Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist” (COMT) from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars in 2015. Since that time, I have taken a variety of courses to better my understanding of orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, and vestibular therapy.
In 2023, I obtained a certification of competency in treating disorders related to vestibular dysfunction and concussion through the American Institute of Balance.
Currently, I am working towards a certification as an “Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist” (AVPT) at the University of Pittsburgh. My aim is to provide the best available care for patients with dizziness and balance dysfunction across the lifespan. Most of the public do not understand the physical therapist’s role in addressing various vestibular pathologies including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, Meniere’s disease, concussion, and vestibular migraine just to name a few.

Often, patients have to deal with a medical system that does not listen to their concerns and values. As a priority, I want to fix that by providing a safe environment for patients to discuss their injuries and goals for therapy. Apart from being a physical therapist, I also coordinate clinical education with universities and have had several DPT students throughout the years. I specialize in manual therapy and vestibular therapy.
I have a special interest in treating patients with vestibular dysfunction, concussion, and manual therapy needs. I thoroughly enjoy the people and the patients at Carroll Physical Therapy. Our aim is to provide a professional and fun atmosphere. Some of the best moments that I have witnessed include patient interactions where they will encourage each other to work hard to address their injuries.
While I am not treating patients, I enjoy mountain biking, trail running, cooking, traveling with my family, reading, and playing with my kiddos.
