Meghan Wisniewski

PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

I grew up locally in Morris County, where I played soccer, swam, and ran track. I then attended the University of Rhode Island where I graduated with my B.S. in Kinesiology, before attending the University at Buffalo DPT program. I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023.

While in undergrad, I completed a 500 hour internship in an outpatient PT setting, as well as gaining 18 months experience interning in the University of Rhode Island DI Sports Medicine facility. During my graduate studies, I completed 5 clinical rotations as a student PT, totaling 52 weeks over three years. Four of these rotations were within outpatient orthopedic settings, while one was in a skilled nursing facility. Upon earning my DPT and becoming licensed, I worked as an outpatient contract PT in Maryland and Rhode Island over a span of 18 months before moving back to NJ.

I work as a PT, DPT for the company. While not having any board certified specializations (yet), I have a wide array of knowledge on orthopedic nerve conditions (i.e. sciatica), spinal, hip, knee, ankle/foot, and gait conditions and injuries.

Something patients have to deal with that I’d like to fix is their confidence. When coming to me with ailments and conditions they are dealing with, I like to promote confidence in their ability to return to their optimal level of function, if not better than where they were previously.

Working at Carroll PT feels like a family. Everyday, the whole office is filled with positivity and laughter despite patients dealing with what could be the most difficult time in their life thus far. We are all supportive of one another, and work together for the best outcome of all of our patients as a whole company.

When I am not working, I enjoy exercising, going for walks, playing with my dog, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports. LGM and Go Bills!

“I cannot recommend Carroll Physical Therapy in Mountain Lakes enough. After undergoing my third shoulder surgery in five years, I was feeling discouraged, but my top-rated surgeon insisted I come here—and I’m so glad I did!

My therapist, Meghan, is incredible. She is extremely knowledgeable and has the perfect personality to motivate you through tough tasks. She makes every session feel personal and accommodating, tailored specifically to where I am in my recovery. For the first time in years, the care I’m receiving here has made me feel hopeful about my future and my mobility. If you want a team that truly cares, this is the place.”

“Having been to a few different physical therapy centers, I found myself resisting enrolling in another! However, once I started at Carroll Physical Therapy center in Mountain Lakes, with Meghan Wisniewski, I knew I had found my new “home.”

Instead of resisting going, each day I look forward to my hour working with Meghan. Her positive and enthusiastic approach to me and to each of the patients I’ve seen her work with brings a breath of fresh air to rehab. All the staff at Carroll share a similar enthusiasm, but Meghan’s approach is unique and supremely positive! I highly recommend this place!”

“Meghan my PT was terrific. Took time always to explain what she was doing, very very caring, great friendly personality, very knowledgeable about my injury. Highly recommend her.”
