Local roots, a doctorate earned the long way.
Dr. Meghan Wisniewski grew up locally in Morris County, where she played soccer, swam, and ran track. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology at the University of Rhode Island, then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University at Buffalo, graduating in 2023.
Along the way she completed a 500-hour outpatient PT internship and 18 months in the University of Rhode Island's Division I sports medicine facility, then five clinical rotations totaling 52 weeks, mostly in outpatient orthopedics. After licensure she worked as an outpatient contract PT in Maryland and Rhode Island before moving back to New Jersey to join Carroll Physical Therapy.
